WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)?
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a Polyurethane invisible layer that's optically clear and gives the ultimate protection for your paint. XPEL Paint Protection is UV resistant, and proven to prevent damage from stone chips, road debris, scratches, and salt spray which is a big factor for locals on the Sunshine Coast wanting the BEST car paint protection. This new level vehicle technology offers 10 years of guaranteed protection and requires minimal maintenance. The self healing technology allows the film to renew itself of light scratches and swirls when exposed to heat.

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PLUS Series Films are warrantied for 10 years. This warranty covers: yellowing, staining, delaminating, cracking, peeling, bubbling, and more.

The self-healing clear coat of our ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH films is designed to repair itself from swirl marks and light scratches from car washes, etc. If a piece of debris has penetrated all the way through the clear coat on the film, it will not self-heal. The only way to fix this would be to have the piece of film replaced.

The clear coat is the self-healing layer and is approximately 13 microns thick. If that layer is penetrated, the film will not heal.
